I promise...I won't make this "posting" thing a habit......

Came upon this quote while watching a documentary film that a friend has put together...I believe it comes from Man from La Mancha a musical based on Don Quixote, by Miguel Cervantes....

"I have lived nearly fifty years, and I have seen life as it is. Pain, misery, hunger ... cruelty beyond belief. I have heard the singing from taverns and the moans from bundles of filth on the streets. I've been a soldier and a slave. I've seen my comrades fall in battle or die more slowly under the lash in Africa. I've held them in my arms at the final moment. These were men who saw life as it is, yet they died despairing. No glory, no brave last words, only their eyes, filled with confusion, questioning "Why?" I don't think they were wondering why they were dying, but why they had ever lived. When life itself seems lunatic, who knows where madness lies? To surrender dreams - -this may be madness; to seek treasure where there is only trash. Too much sanity may be madness! But maddest of all - -to see life as it is and not as it should be."

Brig's Brain 101

Well, it's been about a year since my last post....so I guess I'm due.

In the calmer moments of my life this is the soundtrack going on in my brain....

When the "funny switch" is on....this is the background music in my brain....timing and delivery.....that's the key.(no pun intended)

In the random spaces....this is there.....(among other things)

When I'm driving, I dream I can do this....

When I see the kids asleep in bed (or ours, which seems to be the trend lately) this is it...

The End....for now.
